Another simple layout of a photograph with my parents’ cat, Smokey. The butterflies and banner were cut using my Silhouette. Sorry for the photo of the layout being pretty crooked…I was trying to take it quickly and get this posted!
This layout is of my niece, who kept going around “taking pictures” of everyone during Christmas. She kept going around saying “Cheese.” I wanted this layout to be bright and cheery.
This is a photograph of my great grandparents. I had seen some peacock feathers in Michael’s flower section. I really like the colors of peacock feathers and felt that they would be a nice addition to a more “vintage-type” layout. The rose paper is from Bo bunny. I used gold mist from the Tattered Angels line. I also used my Silhouette to cut the purple border strips located below the photograph, the bird cage, and the title. I also used Lindy’s Stamp Gang Moonshadow Sprays in Phantom Fushia to color the birds, as well as the Tawny Turqoise to color the bird cage and the half circles. The flowers are from Prima and Petaloo and the bling is from Zva.
I have been away from the blogging scene for quite awhile! I was finishing up school and I haven’t had much time to scrapbook! This was a page I scraplifted from a youtube user, Kathyrn Krieger (here’s the link to give credit where credit is due: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DscnFQqflEI). I was feeling uninspired since I hadn’t scrapbooked in awhile and I came across her video. I really liked the layout and decided to give it a try, plus she was great at explaining how she did everything. I thought it turned out pretty well, although I still like her layout more! This is a pic of me and the hubs (the night of our wedding).
